After a safety briefing with the team, you gear up and glide across a clear reef pool. Reef sharks cruise below you while curious tangs and other Hawaiian reef fish swim in close, and you can even help feed them a piece of lettuce and watch the whole school swarm in. Guides stay with you the entire time, so it feels safe and easy even if it is your first time in a mask and snorkel.
Your ticket includes one-day general admission, so before or after your snorkel you can enjoy the park's dolphin show, marine exhibits, and the sweeping views across Makapuu and Rabbit Island.

Guests of all ages are welcome, with a minimum age of 1. Children ages 1 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying adult or guardian age 18 and up, and each adult may supervise up to four children. For the health of the animals, only biodegradable, reef safe sunscreen is allowed. There are no restrictions for expectant mothers, and every participant signs a liability waiver before the encounter. You can complete the digital waiver sent with your confirmation ahead of time to speed up check in.

The in-water encounter lasts about 20 minutes. All guests must arrive one hour before their reserved start time, and arriving late may result in cancellation without a refund.

There are no program restrictions for expectant mothers, so the decision is left to each guest.
